The Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA ), a not for
profit
,non political medical organisation requests muslims to give their
sadaqa and
zakat donation to imana to help us continue providing humanatarian and
medical relief to muslims worlwide suffering from hunger and lack of
health
care as result of natural disasters and aftermath of war and
displacement.
In
last 2 years imana has spent $136,000 for relief efforts in muslim
countries
. in addition , imana gave $ 98, 000 in zakat to needy muslims. IMANA
also
gave
over $100 , 000 to poor medical muslim students overseas to support
their
education. Since the Afghan war started imana has spent $ 32,000 on
sending
medicines , medical supplies and blankets worth $ 850,000 donated by
church
organisation to refugee camps in Pakistan.

supervised by a committee headed by a very respeted muslim physician ,
